As some of you may know, my girlfriend Janisse (quenepas on tumblr) has been very sick these last few weeks. Her gallbladder had to be surgically removed, and in the week following that surgery she developed an infection in the region formerly occupied by her gallbladder. This morning she had the infection drained and an abscess the size of a golf ball removed from the area, the recovery is expected to take up to two more weeks.

I am making this post as a way for the tumblr community to wish her a swift recovery. I’ve seen first hand how well everyone here on tumblr can rally around a good cause and it would make a world’s difference if we could do it once more.

All I ask is that you treat this post as an online Get Well Soon card. To sign it, just reblog the post with whatever message or wishes you would like to pass along to Janisse. (I’m sure she would welcome messages to her ask box as well)

Get well soon princess, stay strong and keep on fighting through this. Before you know it, you’ll be back on your feet again.
